Vietnam vs. Iraq

Everyday in our country today we have seen pictures and heard statistics from the Iraq war. This has created many problems in our country but in many ways it doesn't compare to the problems during the 60's. The Vietnam war was a very unpopular war and it sparked many different protests. They even went as far as to bomb buildings and shoot students. While this seems to be extreme there are many different people who want to do the same thing to our society today. I am very happy that we have yet to go to these extremes and we will not have to because our new president understands what the country wants.
