New Jersey History SUPERSTORM Sandy

I picked the New Jersey History for couple of reason one of them is that I am from Scotch plains, New Jersey, And another reason was do to Super storm Sandy that hit the state in late OCT. Most of the dissuasion's took place about the historical site of the Jersey shore. That most of New Jersey History is gone do to most of the shore was destroyed by Sandy. the shore is one of the things that gave New Jersey fame, not the T.V. show. Also, Sandy hurt people in other ways jobs, money, food and shelter. Most of the people who posted on Sandy were upset that the badly hitter area were not the main focus.  on there other side of that argument was that a lot of organizations were posting information about post Sandy recovery one was The New Jersey Historic Preservation Office. That gave sites for people who are in the H-Net for places to go and find more information about whats going on.

From what i took form the discussions about Super storm Sandy and how people were informed was quite good. some people said that it was great response from Governor Christie, that they ere were informed. Some people thought the post sandy was slow for the hard hit areas like long island and the hard hit area of the shore. another thing was hoe much people want to help with this aftermath of the storm. One older gentlemen reflected "As a young boy how I loved going to the shore and saying int will never be the same ever again. Sandy took my childhood away". Its apart of New jersey history that will never be the same. The picture just don't bring it justices. Having been there myself one world came to mind WOW. This one thing that New jersey as lost a great shore History.
