Happy Birthday! Have some pi!

Today, 3/14, is Pi day! Today we celebrate that mysterious number that has no end and no discernable pattern. Wait! Doesn't that sound more like mathematics instead of history? Well, my only answer is this article from BBC News Online, The history of PI.

Today is also Albert Einstein's birthday!

Albert Einstein was born 14 March 1879. He was born in Germany and educated in Switzerland. When he received his diploma in 1901, he was granted Swiss citizenship. Unable to find a teaching position, he worked as a patent clerk while finishing his doctorate. Einstein is probably most well-known for his theory of relativity and even if someone doesn't know the finer points of that theory, they have heard his famous equation, e=mc2.
