Lisle G. Brown temple square the Endowment house

The source I found on the Building of Temple Square, the Endowment House, which is on the north west corner of temple square.  This article comes from Lisle G, Brown of Marshall University.  The Endowment House is a large part of the Mormon temple and History.  In the Endowment house is trying to resemble the Nauvoo temple and the Kirtland temple.  Endowment house is where Joseph Smith, Bringham young and Addison Pratt in 1849 are the head of conouil. Also, was use to house Artifacts of the Mormon religion.  “Young Had the large hall on the second floor divided into many little departments by white screen”. Which it was like the Nauvoo temple.  This building was one of the first buildings being build before the salt lake temple was being build.  Bringham Young supervised the endowment house and the building of the salt lake temple.  In Brown article she goes  into how Young and the followers would call in the “House of the Lord”. She also, talks about in each section of the article about the building of the interior and exterior of the house.  The house was also, used for cooking for the workers.  In the article she talks about how there are many murals, of the garden which Bringham wanted to make it peaceful .   Brown talks about how the house was being develop, and how the major leads always had a say about what was going to be build. This House was one of the first building to be made to form temple square.
