A different View of Today’s Recession

Recession is a bad thing for people, and this is always true. In every recession we experienced, there were high unemployment and inflation. People lost their jobs, and lost their houses, and became poor at last. However, is the recession bad for the country? Not necessarily.
In this recession, we had gained more foreign capital than we ever had, and we successfully dropped the oil price. We also made economy of every country in this world suffer with us, too. Even though the recession hurt U.S., it hurts more to European nations and developing countries. By this effort, U.S. will still be the most powerful nation in the world. This recession also slowed the economic growth of developing nation, which made developed countries has longer advantages. Also, by this recession, it successfully switch the campaign point of 2008 president election, and united U.S. people more than ever. And by the end of this recession, we will have more capital, stronger economic position in the world, and successfully keep us as the most powerful economic nation. Furthermore, European countries will recover from this financial crisis after U.S., but they need a longer time. The ture victim of this reccession is third world countris. They need a much longer time to recover, and will keep controlled by big economic powers.
Think back to 1979, in the last recession, we gained a lot interests in Mideast and developing countries. This time, it will be the same.
