I find it very interesting how Obama's cabinet members have been so publically announced but I found this one rather interesting. Obama picked the Nobel Prize winner Steven Chu as his secretary of energy. By picking a known figure in science as a cabinet member, will there finally be changes in our society to help protect our environment?
In this article (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=98108540) it states "Chu's resume contains an item never before seen on a DOE director's CV: a Nobel Prize in physics". Did Obama pick him because of his prize that he won? Clearly Chu is an intelligent man but will he be able to get anything done for our environment?
